shoes

Post by the mingo » August 15th, 2011, 2:34 pm

been out on the road
gettin' the rewards of my livin' day to day
thinking of restorations &
the fruits of redemption waitin' somewhere up ahead
& thinkin' of all those that have gone that way
I look down at the shoes on my feet
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

There's music to this? (Strike my question mark; it's a fact.)

guess we gotta do our own legwork , huh ?.......some steps we retrace, others we forge anew.......should I go left, should I go right, or should I just plow through that cornfield straight ahead.......gotta say, it hasn't been boring.......

Fruits of redemption and cobs of corn
are peeked upon where husks are torn.
Something's rejected, something's worn:
remove rejection, we're reborn.
