I don't hate you

Post by saw » August 24th, 2011, 3:18 am

I don't hate you
just want more
candles on the porch,
bamboo tubes of night
clacking with wind's kiss
mallet-less xylophones
resonating the hollow music
of pure harmony in the tempo
of heartbeat, fireflies sprinkling
my total vision, each a dot of
unforced natural bliss, miles from
any shore where money
is needed to pay for contentment,
cicadas croon the melody here
bull frogs moan the bass lines
like a thousand years of wisdom
this old Adirondack chair fits
like an exquisite cocoon
please join me for a spell
sit in my lap
I don't hate you
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

..."miles from
any shore where money
is needed to pay for contentment"... and "malletless xylophones"...

was diggin' on these..
my favorite scene in "the misfits" is when they get home after the rodeo, after midnight, and guido stumbles out and picks up a hammer and starts to "work on his house"... and that short interlude, when he's deciding what to do... ah, the cicadas, making contented night music...

Saw.....this is a very lovely capture and takes us right in there with your Imagery...with the candles on the porch and taking in the wonderful musical flow ...very enjoyable indeed..:-)

I thought I replied. Love this poem, it's like a candle on the porch. A xylophone without sticks.

There was a hatred so ugly it taught me another love- deeper- Lockyer lips sweetness flowing from orchid beds with spaghetti and laughter- moonlight and tides-love ebbs and flows- that linear it is only this way- I sent that away-now whaTi invite looks like choices
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Really is beautiful; makes me miss my deckchair partner (she followed a job and I don't get to follow her for another week).

Also makes me miss fireflies. Hope to see them again soon.

This is great, cracks me up each time I return to it.
