Now is the forever time zone

The bliss of the moment was like the gibbous moon reflected
in a cool mountain lake, shivers went up and down their spine.
They clasped hands like children, crossed Times Square in the
rush of morning, somehow lost track of time. An echo from a
long ago and far away thought brought them back. Nothing had
changed, but somehow everything was never quite the same.

They were here now and they knew love.
