well, not quite, left a few roots in there

they hated me for the rest of her life

she died without telling me
just up & died and
not even a "fuck YOU, asshole!"

she's been dead over a year
and i'm still paying my
penitent dues
like i have done for decades

from this vantage point
i can say i would have much preferred
the simple "fuck YOU, asshole!"

a simple "fuck YOU, asshole!" is
quick, clean, over, & DONE with

a "fuck YOU,asshole!" is priceless
