reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Re: ?
When I think of her I remember the sensation, and the look of sadness on her face, and her saying no. I remember how long it seemed to take to withdrawl. Sixty years ago, and I still remember the sadness on her face, I think she realized what a long lonely time it was going to be for me. First love, true love, I saw her about a year later she was pregnant, I smiled at her and then blindly walked into a plate glass window.
Is there a poem in there?
Her eyes were brown
Her biological clock was ticking
And I am a fool

thank you for the poem creativesoul
and for the inspiration to write the above
been trying to write that a long time
that is the best I have done with it so far
and please pardon this ramble.

Re: ?
those eyes
they told me stories
that made my veins crawl
i loved him
his sighs and snippy remarks never took the spark from my heart
but the soul- ah that is a different song
i had to sing it loud- then not at all
to hear the music
