Raving lunatics from the balcony on the sixth floor

Post by izeveryboyin » March 10th, 2005, 1:22 pm

I could hear the keys rattling while the bed shook
blue respective sadness to tpoison the children's minds
and pull out the intestines of the ages
(did anybody tell you my life goes by in stages?)
I felt the hand up my skirt and the bone in his jeans
I saw the panic as it ensued and fled the town
while my mind was invaded by bastards on color TV
(did anybody tell you you couldn't work with me?)
sometimes I just like to breathe.

Kayla? is that your name? Nice name.

I met her in a club down in old soho
where you drink champagne
and it tastes just like chery cola
C-O-L-A cola

She walked up to me
and she asked me to dance
I asked her her name
and in a dark brown voice she said Kayla
K-A-Y-L-A

it sort of fits. not really. never mind.

I liked this poem. I liked the first line a lot. I like "the hand" and "the bone" too. not a or his but the.

the intestines of the ages is a nice bold line too. the shit squelching intensitnes of a putrid age; an overflowing sewer of the ages; the smegma smelling green open sore of the ages. Etc.

lovely.
well I write music review so I do:
