after a nap an image grew
after a nap an image grew
against a pure white wall
void of decoration
Marietta sighed
leaving an orange stain
that broke the silence
peacefully

Hey cecil........it's funny how it comes and goes.....sometimes it's like pulling teeth and other times it spreads like butter, sometimes it's the painting that flows or with me the wire or welding projects, it is really hard to do all of em at once, plus keep a relationship going. I can remember 3 years ago when I had my WIREMAN Gallery I would make 3 wired ones in a day and write, then go out and perform damn near every night. I wonder if it's even possible to keep all these balls juggling in the air and it is hard, especially when ya add in the job, which is forever expanding and very demanding of my energies at 52. It's a beautiful demon, my passion for art and I find myself becoming more and more dedicated to the path as I grow older and see the sands shrinking in the hourglass. Yet I have no choice, it's a thirst and hunger that swallows up lives.
