was Nietzsche a poet doing philosophy
or a philosopher doing poetry?
I use to think that his mustache
was a poem on his lip
Burroughs said that language is a virus
I read today that we don't know that
much about viruses, something about
non-cellular life, which is what alien
life would be, or that is how we
would find alien life
if language is a virus
then we are speaking
something from the stars
Nietzsche talked about a dancing star
philosophy then shows us how poetry
came from the stars and beyond
in this time we would be speaking
what science and religion
still cannot agree upon
because language is all about the eternal return
that which Nietzsche saw in his ur sprach
his playing with colored balls tripping his brains out
that is why a poet like Bukowski could tell about
the most profane things in the most effortless
way, and make us believe flowers grow out of it
why Shelley could tell us about Ozymandais
"a traveller from an antique land" or a drifter
from nowheresville, "human all too human"
speaking an alien tongue...
language is a virus

That is the best way to read him, while tripping your brains out.tripping his brains out
"Language is a bitch with an ice pick" something I read on litkicks about ten years ago, I forgot who wrote it, maybe it was you?
Thank you for writing

A poem with Nietzsche, Bukowski & Burroughs in it can't be bad, in fact, it's very good.
