my body
rejoices that never again
will i feel the way i did
3 years ago today

if any man wants to hit me
do it now
because i am one lean awesome machine
and no one will ever kick my ass again-
sitting on my hips and holding my hands down
fucking damn straight i bit you
what did i have left to defend myself with?

but let me tell you- if you do hit me be prepared
to hurt like hell
to get new teeth
to ruin your credit rating
to lose everything that you cared about
and then think again
before you hit another woman
a woman that just needed love-
games in your broken headlights
