The Only Way

[WIREMAN]

tip-toe thru the daze
stark raving wired
the cat's crazed
endless cycle on a
big round ball
continuously looking
for what will be or not
be the end of it all
spiders jump from
stem to branch
feelings burn as I
take that chance
yet it's all in the turn
of the tides, the road
forever winds, leaves ya
with no place to hide
on the savannah a
newborn wildebeast
jumps to it's feet
all along the banks of
the river, waterfowl
make their hasty reteat
one filament, a single fibre
dangling out there in the dark
let's ya know that to keep
movin', it's the only Way
to truly depart..............WIREMAN

I love that. It's a cool ditty mantra.
This is a really good poem mark, I like the way that you throw a rhyme in there, it really works, like magic!
I do think the ya's would be better as you's.....but I'm a stodgy old crone, don't mind me.
