In such times and days
Or daze of such time
Remembering the lighter sentence
of joyous celebratory celery
Cocktails on a hot sunny
sandy umbrella in the reign
of King "how 'bout dat"

I relaxed a moment to forget
the reasons why words have
no meaning
only in the construct of
Desire

And how it imposes it's
Remembrances
Long into the Night of
morning

today I turned to yellow
like a dandelion in the forest
I became green with context
Searching for the blue
And the purple pink iris mauve
and beige

Like numbers in the morning frost
Centuries and details
Amendments and constitutional
Coincidence

Like similes with no reference
aphorisms that solve the
Puzzle of its own complexity

Sweetwater, thanks for this poem. Remembrances can really be soothing at certain times
in our lives. 8) :)
