As soft moments of doing in the morning are
exposed to the elements of a rising

As if the character was in question
Of his or hers own existence
And could only live in the context of writing

Everything else seemed empty like a pond of mud
Or a half glass of day-old beer
And
It's lacking in any semblance of inspiration
seemed only intentional
More as inability than inclination

But not as all things that come to pass
Rather inspire the moment or to deflate
What it was I thought I was thinking
in the first place

It's as if a randomized memory yet to be
Was something that could only exist
in the context of writing
