sometimes remembering

Post by the mingo » August 7th, 2014, 6:37 pm

sometimes remembering things right
ain't so easy any more
i can't trust myself to remember
what i once thought i knew so well
& would never forget
these days everything's worn so thin
i can see in places right through them
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

everything's fine until it's not
no excuses anymore, i'm a shivering piece of jello
shimmering in the street light

i am a woman that has just been gifted new teeth- so i am moving to town to smile real big and get close to gallery owners-\
have you no pride?
yes
quite a bit
more than i need she said
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
