late september sun....
exquisite temperature....
transcendental atoms
careen around in my skull
like amphetamined keno balls
poppin' in a glass case for gamblers,
the ricochets are exhilarating
they mingle with chemistry
they tango back and forth like lovers,
new steps, new ideas...
onset of autumn, time
for transformation, time for
summer notions to fade and die
time for chopping wood
stacking it on the front porch,
soon I will need to hunker down
swaddling those babies of mine
watch the infant truth waddle
on unseasoned legs, kept warm
growing and healthy
newborn concepts need nurturing
'cause in the spring they will run !
RUN, I tell ya....sure footed....
they will run through my breath
with enthusiasm, like they been doin' it
all their lives, and I will never look back
as the new me germinates by the wood stove,
it can't be stopped....i feel the changes coming
winter is on the way
no need to fear it, it's a time for incubation
shadows of winter
shadows of winter
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
you may end up where you are heading
Re: shadows of winter
summer so falls for winter to perform,
the demands of change nourishing life...
the demands of change nourishing life...

Re: shadows of winter
usually there are BEAR ceremonies out here- DRUMS AND ALL- BUT THINGS ARE QUIETING DOWN a bit===============i am moving to the city

reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
