I'm glad you returned
my dear friend,
as you know very well
we share the same space...
a skull with plenty of room, why
do you sometimes just up and leave
when I'm preoccupied
with other stupid shit...
I don't even notice
you've slipped out
the cranium door
I awaken one morning
with angst I can't put a finger on,
or put a single neuron in its proper place,
so I pace like any animal
in captivity would, back and forth
forth and back, A to B
B to A, even to C ( see ) sometimes
and then as swiftly as you left it seems,
you return to my head.....I can't tell you
how much I missed you, YOU
are the only one that understands me
split decision
split decision
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism

Re: split decision
"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most."
... I don't remember who said that. It could have been me, but I think it was somebody else.
I don't know exactly what you're referring to in this poem but it was definitely cool to read. Something that shares the space in your brain. Hmmm... I love a good mystery poem.
Some days, all the poems are mysteries to me. I don't understand any of them.
So, don't worry,it's not your poem, it's just me.
