poetic realities

Post by WIREMAN » March 12th, 2015, 8:14 pm

spreading the
peanut butter
thin
we jumped from
slice to slice
taxed indiscrimantly
barking at the
drunken hounds
PA never loud enough
i thought "build
a stage"
create a coffee cafe
construction complete
that's when capitalismo
rolled in
turned the vision
into a furniture store
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

have a seat and be kind to your thoughts!
what is this coffee table doing in my ear?
what is this night stand doing between my toes?

many miles on this engine, baby

shoes! blues! and song!

we gotta sing man
we gotta sing!

them boogie-woogie furniture folks can be real wolves versus any dream - I just bought a couch, it came in three boxes, had to put it together me & nancy - it was stressful & sublime -
tomorrow I go to a bike store I ain't never been to - I expect the sublime while I am there but who knows? Just because you don't hear wolves out there in the dark don't mean they ain't there

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

thanks for reading and responding amigos, makes it worthwhile....here's the stage i worked on last spring n into summer, was hopin to do the poetry shows there but alas it got rented out as a furniture store instead of the coffee house/gallery it was intended to be, chalk it up to economics....i went from this little project to building a full blown 500 million dollar art gallery, that i am sworn not to talk about till its complete, call it a non disclosure agreement

so sick man, I was one of the construction volunteers
in the building of Prufrock's Cafe, (Scranton)... used to be
a furniture store... but we built a couple of stages for
the bands and poetry nights, open mic...

check out the old vid of the place...

email... what's that
many is a word
