... not nothin' ever!

Post by the mingo » April 23rd, 2015, 2:58 pm

i bet
with consent
to possess
a complex selection process
trying to clear off some confusion
my lumped hunch? - well, to be perfectly honest,
whenever i do this
i'm sure i'm speaking in tongues
it's crystal clear ya know
(gulp!)... it's true -
i'm looking for a dull gunless cult
that offers free beer
because i've never ever been in it
for the poetry
or the vanity! vanity! etc. of all that
no not nothin' ever
i've always only been in it
for the threads -
that's where my allegiance lies
anyone's poetry only serves as potential creation point
for a possible thread
boom and go ya know
the action is not in the poems
but in the threads that came because of them
the old litkicks site (R.I.P.) is a prime example
flung, flirting, flamed, & fussed over
all hail the thread!
squirt squirt !
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

I'm in it for the threads, too. That's where the action is, where the interaction is, where the life is. Oh, yeah, well a poem can have life, sure, it IS alive if it's a good poem, but the reactions to it and the conversations between people, now that's what makes the whole experience worthwhile....for sure.

right the hell right with that - man, i was angry (still am) that he did that - i wanted to rip his heart's heart out just so he understood what it was like - i still can't talk about it evenly -
