whatever I am
is just my plight

I could change
my spots,

But pigment
is permanent,
as black
and white

Can't wish
it away,
wish I may
wish I might

The choice
in the matter,
just a roll
of the dice

A bias can grow
but to be precise
it's never as simple
as black or white.
