if you knew the ideas
that ran away

if you knew the hours
and the seconds
(oh, it is the seconds
that are so much worse...)

if you knew the trials
and the plans
and the ends

if you knew the exit

if you knew

her beauty did cut like a knife
she knew the power she had
but I had a high threshold for it
and a big box of band aids


rambling roses


I don't know the pain I cause
if I knew the exit
I still would not go there yet
just a pin prick of vanity
my rose will never lose her bloom

that was the best epic poem I have read in a long time
