bilingual

Post by saw » November 12th, 2015, 8:18 pm

where should I draw the lines
what equations have I missed,
the journey for pastoral equilibrium
is fraught with unplanned detours

spider webs as big as houses
anaconda vines climbing the outside
cellular walls, windows blacked out
by leafy blankets of wrong turns

and we know that men never ask for directions

you'll need a machete to get out the door
but I guess if you hack at it long enough
it's possible to forge a path into the clearing,
a sun-drenched glen with an open heart

and you might even feel welcome there
in the field with the big black crows
that speak an unfamiliar language
that somehow you understand

it's suddenly clear, you've become bilingual
you can still decipher the english that branded you
but also comprehend the language of the universe,
messages, only for those that venture outside

their comfort zone...I hear dionne warwick
in my left ear asking about a mythological san jose,
jim croce in my right ear crooning about a dream he has
about moving ahead, so life don't pass you by.

I want to go somewhere new
some place that surprises the eyes,
somewhere the mind has not visited
I want to forget about old news, future plans

I want to visit the now, stay for awhile

been fiddling with this one the last few days....It might be worse
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

they tell me
'every where i go there i am'
i used to think they were fucking crazy
i love-like the lizard tougue communication with telepathic shadows
where there is
questions with out answers

seen portland>
??
new- mmm like three new pairs of jeans in one month
the story of the bianchi
bike has to wait until the whore
portland state university sucks some food out of my bloodline
but i fuck myself with the dildo of art forcefully
making me live againest alll odds
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
