A MATTER OF FACT...

Post by sooZen » November 12th, 2015, 10:25 am

A MATTER OF FACT…

the armor falls away, rusted
revealing skin, transparent
nerves exposed, blood courses
veins bulge with red, white & blue
head to head we dance
a trickle of life force sparks
tonality totality incessantly
the armor an illusion
emotions fill me with the past
life and death are one
hear here or not hear here
it matters not…

a plan takes shape
triangular visions of land
far away in scope
a whale of a vision spouts
I see France, I see lavender fields
loaves of bread and vino
toasted in the sun
a trip down memories
death is but a dreamscape
escape is but an illusion
dot to dot to dot
it matters not…

perfection in a pool
water bugs make waves
drowning in thought
willy nilly monkey mind
wishes for a crack
I see no thing, nothing there
no thing here either
just accumulations of fluff
brain matter is not gray
multicolored spray gun spews
spatters me with pain paint
it matters not…

hopes are just finite paintings
splattered onto canvases
(brushes me aside)
counting lines inside boxes
squinting into darkness
I see visions of endings
fears raise ugly heads
gargoyles have vampire teeth
ready to sink into my neck
voracious appetites abound
hungry for anger & revenge
they gather at my tomb
not that it matters…

a little girl grows wings
flies within a old woman’s dreams
lines are drawn on faces
in triplicate, duplicate copies
numbers seem to swirl
like water down a drain
how old, how young, how wide, how tall
how big, how little, how small
a little girl has wonders
places easy to hide
experiences teach armoring
battle cries echo in her heart
not that it matters…

voices are vices
echoes in an empty canyon
pictographs on the walls
hands, hands, fingers numb
no thing is silent, nothing is won
falling into lines blurred
visions of illusions
scars of past battles tattoo my heart
do you know? do you care?
no thing is left but leaf litter
carpeting my floor
blood soaked bones scattered
it does not matter…

an intriguing ride through the mind of a tired warrior.....empathized and enjoyed the ride
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

liked this- -- mysterious in a strange way :P
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
