and of course I fully agree
with the logic that marches
down the street
carrying a sign that reads

Honesty is the Best Policy,
but that seems too damn simple to me
I mean, are you really trying to say to me
that all we have to do is never lie to anyone ?

OK, wait a minute
do you even mean White lies ? ?
'cause holy shit man
that would be damn near impossible

and I would never carelessly hurt someone
just to keep a streak alive,
just to follow all the rules
because I want to claim

I'm part of a movement,
so I'll just add a sprig of this
and some essence of that, dashes
of formula X.....toss it all together

into a big brown bamboo bowl
of surly volunteers, karma-kazes....
