The Waiting Room

Post by Brian mclaughlin » November 30th, 2015, 2:39 pm

This waiting room
so lonely at times
so quiet
it's as if no-one else is here
they sit across from me
yet I feel totally alone
all the time wondering
what awaits me on the other side of that door
I have heard others claim to know
but to me the afterlife remains a mystery
When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak. ~ Audre Lorde

age old question, what's beyond the door ?....the economy here works well
the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism
