eco-news

Post by saw » January 23rd, 2016, 10:28 am

sometimes I wonder about others
catching me talking to my plants
I wonder what a witness might do
seeing me blow my morning breath
on one of my caladiums, not that I think
it's weird to be intimate towards things
you love, but others I fear might decide
I need to be involuntarily committed

spring grove, the cuckoo's nest

digs for outsiders, but hey

screw you infidels
yo yo's of the dark, pea shooters
that prefer ball bearings, stuck
in the morass of molasses, as the earth
melts like a forgotten ignored piece
of dark chocolate in the window, go on
make fun of me, get your microscopic
rocks off, grab your jollies of hubris
hold them one last time in your hands
give them one last sheen of contempt
cuz mama always gets the last say "round here
balls shrunk to nothing
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
