El Chapo likes recognition
just like every other businessman
the crosstown traffic of drugs
hispanic hendrix bending the landscape
the secret tunnels under the invisible borders

Sean Penn wants to be a haphazard journalist
or anything different than he is today
Johnny Depp, Kevin Bacon get bored playing dull roles
like to sling their fender guitars, the wooden
stage has multi-purposes, so light it up

Like the sirens from the rocky cliffs
some folks need to be seen, heard, feel
alive in the spotlight like cactus flowers in the desert sun
underneath is a succulent force
that wants to expand....grow my babies !

For all the world to see, sea to shining, see
all their antics, entertainers cause a commotion
like pressurized well water from a determined pump
prime it up my brother, let it flow like ancient history
bathe vicariously in your latent desires
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

The sand blew away from the tower
some old king left his name all over
the sand scrubbed it smooth
its all moldy earth in the forest
to be truly loved holds the only reality
read the poem and see the hand reaching for imortality
the tunnling desperate hollow death looks out
the stars are not where they seem ,only the little light remains
they drifed away years ago
smart poem
has our age in a n ols gunny sack
put it in the pot for supper poet!
