recovery

Post by saw » July 11th, 2016, 8:42 am

the dream of the day
has me falling through
the sky, slow and steady
end over end over end
unafraid, buoyed by friendships
karmic arms envelope
my circle of love
they toss me in the air
beach blanket bingo style
I am giddy in all the attention
high as a stay puff cloud
safe as any man could be
I'm part of something bigger
than the ionosphere,
I belong to a tribe...
warriors in my camp
sharpen their steely reserve
come to my rescue
hugs and home-cooked meals
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

sure
ceasing to fight anyone or anything...
sweet srrender
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Seriously- it is the hardest simple program ever- go to a meeting a day or i start thinking I Am somebody
And I'm anybody and no body
I sort of watched for 30 years
Then I jumped on the trolley
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Fantastic! I am so happy to hear you have so much love surrounding you and offered to you! And I liked the imagery in the poem, too.
