Digital Exhaust, and Other Possible Topics

Post by mnaz » January 16th, 2017, 3:24 am

Has anyone written about
digital exhaust? Of the new
disconnect of connection?
Faces peer into little screens,
thumbs working like a mother.

Has anyone mourned the wars lately,
or mounting hills of garbage in oceans?
No, because it's not Good Screen.

Crack me up -
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

trying to listen to the radio
and some tele-marketer nameless
dancing accross the digital social media
a ballerina of the internet
highly intelligent
but sort of detached with a borderline personality disorder
suduction of the empty data
exhaustion is more like the continual journey to not be stuck on stupid for three days
trying to make an electronic signature in bold text on my phone
the world is covered with snow
its too cold to play outside with the dog
sucking on a inhaler and using a vaporizer so i can breathe
this could be the end
or a new beginning
moving to the sand- dessert- starlight and heat-sunlight ========
the place i was born
i have heard before you always return home
some old woman told me that
i didnt understand then
afraid to ask
relying on my observations
childish yet innocent
old and retired

georgia o keef is my new higher power
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

I wasn't born in the desert, in the land of light and silent space, but that's where I'm headed ... for health reasons of course.

And somewhere in Jakarta,
a mountain of dead digital gadgets
piles higher, faster than toxic pyres
burning at the base consume them.

In space, junk will smash things,
satellites will break up satellites.
Earth will grow wreckage rings.
Sunlight will be a dazed haze.

O Tech, Great Dawn of Tech...

Makes me think Lemuria ; lost in another -space in time-
-Atlantis? -Avalon
Things like Easter island
Yes the place calls you

The scent of the heat
Tumbleweed rolling accross the freeway
And the sun
That beautiful colored sunset
I once wanted to take 100 answering machines-
Light them on fire- take a picture
Caption" leave your name and number"
I do hope I -will breathe until and sometimes afterwards-
I am about to be a grandma
I am going to be warm and die in a sea of old people
New friends
My other friend is coming with and she's going to see the cancer doctor in Tijuana
Health is everything
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
