That's pretty much how I see it, Wired One of sculpted steel art. One could do a lot worse than getting poetry down everywhere... because, that's where it is.
Re: Jamming into Oblivion
Like the psychedelic shack
Poetry's where it's at
Poetry's where it's at

Re: Jamming into Oblivion
"Further on is into day..." C. S. Lewis...
Thank goodness for freedom of speech in this country.
Otherwise, as Dylan says, "we'd be in the swamp." All power to the pen...

"Life is Strange" say the Fugs.
"I've always felt like a stranger in a strange land",
to quote one of my favorite books.
I've been suprised by life, at times.

Re: Jamming into Oblivion
castle spelunking
wasn't big enough
no more sleepless
nights awaiting destiny
it's infinity that is
the outcome
foretold was the
Shakespearean drama
yet comedy was the fact
whether it tis nobler
to suffer the beeps
and horns of trash trucks
outside my cells window
or endure ungraspable
dreams....aye that's the rub-a-dub
oh to live on sugar mountain
with the barkers and the colored
balloons
wasn't big enough
no more sleepless
nights awaiting destiny
it's infinity that is
the outcome

Re: Jamming into Oblivion
6:08 getting light out
clouds over all the sky
even over sugar mountain
my bare bones watered by rain
my eyes are balloons
my ears these huge listening animals
full of those sounds of all
the guys & girls reaching for the distance
saxophones on Mars !
and comets come close
because they want to hear the jazz
leaking from our hearts
ain't got to worry 'bout being too small
big enough to hear it all
clouds over all the sky
even over sugar mountain
my bare bones watered by rain
my eyes are balloons
my ears these huge listening animals
full of those sounds of all

Re: Jamming into Oblivion
Sounds of nature seep into my
Basement window along with the
Sounds of laundry drying in the dryer--
Getting the household clothes done
Is a weekly chore...
There's Brewster, the rooster crowing,
Two ducks, Flick & Flack are quacking,
Two pigs are oinking & snuffling,
While crows caw in the treetops...
I think the animals restlessness tells us
There is another deep freeze coming.
A deep freeze would be welcome
This is Tennessee, & we're not used
To Florida type winters...
Weirdest winter ever--no snow in
The valley at all around here
In Chattanooga...
We keep on truckin'
We keep on chooglin'
We keep in mind that
Hey, we're still here
On good old Earth...
We are suprised by joy
Of little things
