"...there was nothing left but bingo bones and half a Jolie"

Post by Terri » February 27th, 2018, 8:30 pm

see, google, this is what happens
when you think you're targeting ads
it all turns into word salad or
perhaps i should say a salad shooter.
anyone with a brain cell, well -
wait, you'll give me fifty percent off my second time around
and that equals nothing, right?
thanks, here's your change.
it's like presidential atrocities
and fifty-seven (that's not an exact number)
stories about murdered kids
the mind shuts off at a certain point
no more, i didn't want to tell you this
while you were under so much stress but
you and the horse you rode in on
just been 86ed.

maybe not the horse, i like horses.

i think i'm done now.

thank you

I found solace
in your poem 8)

hysterical and timely...and something I think about a lot
the world seems so absurd to me most days and I'd say
capitalism and politics has done a fine job of fucking things up
and "they" have the nerve to refer to certain folks with a legitimate culture as primitive

wtfwtfwtfwtfwtfwtf....WTF

I believe you are channeling a bit of dino here
which is not to take away from your perfectly wonderful creative mind.... 8) 8) 8)

you may end up where you are heading

I believe you are channeling a bit of dino here
yes and no and yes
and what made you catch that?
i'd been thinking of dean all day, and when i started to get tangled up with what
i wanted to say, thought of him and blurted it out

The non-stop (and accelerating, multiplying) hustle... A machine or war or pill for every ill. Lyin', slogans and memes, oh my! More more more! Faster faster!...

There is no pill I can take that will make it stop
No guns

The sinus
The headache
The sadnesno child is left behind my ass

The need for a solution bones
Black lives matter
All lives matter

Now

There isn’t anything I can take that will make stupidsmart
Or the energy of sick people
Make me itch

I wish I had even a dimension that told me that where we are now is not a delicate situation
I wish I could make a difference
That my little almost had a heart attack ass
Survived
Today
That’s right
Fucking today bingo
One minute at a time-
I can handle
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

hey terri...it was the witty conversational tone that struck me as"dino-ese"....and the quick turn as one thought leads to another stream...I think dean had running dialogue in his head all the time...and some great stuff came out of that....still read his stuff all the time...excited about the book nina has been working on
