secular atheology: fragments

Post by e_dog » May 4th, 2005, 12:02 am

the guilt of being alive
broken only by
the meaning of pain

growing old
as a cycle of corruption
and expiation

the lamb is an anomoly
in the jungle of sin

the spirit moves
through respiration
to expiration

Gee. This is depressing, as i'm guessing it's supposed to be. It works too, because it's very flattening of any hopes, and it drones on and on in perfect, eloquence, in a deflating, matter of fact style.

IT MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM AND CURSE AND YELL...NO! NO! NO!
IT'S NOT TRUE! DON'T BELIEVE IT!

Believe this:

the alive of being alive,
broken only by the guilt
of resisted pain.

growing old
as a cycle of redemption,
choosing expiation

the lamb is an escapee
in the jungle we're in

the spirit moves,
through desperation,
to exhultation.......

Nice one,
(got me goin eh!
:D )
Thanks for postin Edawg

Epilogue

Artaud believed
he could feel
his thoughts
and the feeling
was sheer pain.

The seer without visions.
