when you can't separate cynicism from reality

Post by saw » January 24th, 2020, 11:17 am

the spectacle of hate-filled signs
with misspelled words is a great victory
for illiteracy and intolerance
and the joke as it turns out is a big ruse

perpetrated from limp-dicks in castle pulpits
that preach their sermon of ungodly riches
and arena murders provide amusement as to how easy
it is to get beggars to kill other beggars

it's really just sleight of hand close-up magic
Look !...at the fat right rolex-ed hand
Oops, he just stole your bus fare and peanut butter sandwich
with his left hook

but hey, it is The Year of the Rat
and the coronavirus has nothing to do with
the most interesting man in the world
and sleepwalkers seem okay with dumpster-diving

Dystopia, is not a Disney movie, and it has come today
unlike the "Time"', the Chambers Brothers promised us
wearing a 4 piece suit....jacket ,trousers, vest, and scythe
the once surgical cuts, are now ruthlessly clumsy

goodbye social security
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Divide & conquer is the easy part; hate is too easy. Stealing is hopelessly subjective. We gotta decide if we're okay with the dismantling of government; maybe it should be torn down, and all the "proper" bullshit like the Constitution and checks and balances supposedly designed by our "founding fathers" as taught in Civics class, those sort of impossible ideals, were always laughably fake and have always been hopelessly corrupted ... So it should be a slam dunk for corporatists to just blow in and heap it all on Obsolete and/or Evil (and Profit-Impeding) Government, right? Yeah it's easy to hate brown people, or white people, or black people or red or blue people, and pander and cobble together angry voting factions and spit slogans of greatness, but what then?..

I think many citizens are shocked at how it easy it was to circumvent the whole checks and balances thing,,,,all it took was electing a mobster, getting control of the senate, naming corrupt attorney general, corrupt lawyers, corrupt secretary of state, and on and on and on, until the neo-mafia is running the show....and these guys are crazy heartless bastards who plan to come after every program that is helping the less fortunate, unconscionably with social security in sight....in other words all the vulnerable people of the earth....for what ?.....money ?....the rapture ?

Hard to believe people aren't calling him "the don." Or are they? I mean, even Bush/Cheney caught some of that "crime family" type blowback.

I guess the stealing (which is "subjective" of course!) goes hand in hand with the dismantling. Another round of tax cuts for the top few percent coming, and "Prez" "willing to look at entitlements" later this year (after the election of course). Just DEFUND things (sorry! no choice, deficit too high! and it's all just dirty rotten SOCIALISM anyway, good riddance!...) If we keep voting for this, I guess it must be what we want. Or maybe the machines are hacked and the elections are ... well, let's not go there...
