TV Forecast

Post by saw » February 1st, 2022, 10:31 am

the wind is howling
like a frozen wolf
the temperature fell
from the sky
the sun
took a day off
the trees are going sideways
must be a test
for roots

mama nature speaks :
I know I didn't tell you
I was coming for a visit
I like to surprise you sometimes.....
the weatherman knows not
of my gusts, when I will send them
how hard I will blow
Ha Ha Ha, so ridiculous
and those guys make

six figures,
and everyone tunes in because
they want to know what I will do
science will only take you so far
I make sure there is always a lot of mystery
to every day.....oh sure go ahead
make your predictions, have your fun
make a lotta of money, convince your watchers
you have magic powers

and during the commercials sell other things that don't work either
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

and in between the tv hucksters, the phone scammers pick up the slack. I get at least 3 calls a week from the "Medicare Pain Management Division", asking if I've received my new Medicare card - strange, how they all seem to have indian accents.... and if it's not them, it's someone with a dire warning that my car's warranty is about to expire... or Amazon seeking verification for the $300 purchase about to be shipped to me.... or the power company informing me that the promptness of my payments has entitled me to a discount, and all I need do is press "1" to speak to someone about it.... I even got a call from my grandson, even though I have no grandchildren...

their blocking technology is very effective at masking their true identities from caller ID. I've even gotten 2 calls from myself. And people wonder why I hate the telephone....

Love this write. I live in Chile and they cannot call me. They try to e mail me..

I guess that sacred space is violated with disturbing distractions

But Mother Nature. You really did a great twist on her. I loved it
Peace
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

We small. Funny how we don't think of ourselves that way.
Thanks.
