I was jus' sixteen

Are you lonely tonight?
she thought I looked like Elvis
she don't remember the night I entered her.
I don't bring it up when she calls
I still remember the sadness in her face when she said no.
I went in but when I saw she really meant no
she had moved on in her mind
she no longer felt that way about me.
So I withdrew and still remember the feel of our dialogue of the flesh

I get it
Nice write
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
