Parable of the Bigger Gun

I grew up in that era, and the
Church tried to tie it to Jesus,
all those murderous weapons.

it's no longer an eye for an eye
a mere eye isn't enough anymore
no, we must wipe them all
off of the map
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

The moment it sunk in that my Church tied faith to politics, war and destruction, it was dead to me. Decades ago. Never been back.
