someone that listens

I was comatose and painless
miles davis was in the other room
and I related to his expressions
sometimes that's all we need
is someone that understands,
someone that listens
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

listening is fading fast
people still hear
but miss the step
of comprehension
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.
