I've polled the Peasants
and yes they're fine with
all these wars and being
bombed and conscripted
as long as the right side
wins
And all these God Wars
lately? Well, that was
part of the plan
I've Polled the Peasants
Re: I've Polled the Peasants
you can't win at war
"the only winning move is not to play"
how many souls lost
in god's name
"the only winning move is not to play"
how many souls lost
in god's name
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.

Too many? Not enough? Depends on who you ask.
Re: I've Polled the Peasants
"Part of the Plan." Well at least some of the current-day "Christian" followers have decided that they've had enough of "foreigners," or wait, just "illegal foreigners," and there must be some sort of horrific Big War to eliminate a third of the world's population before Jesus can return. I actually heard a group of farmers in Boise Idaho express this opinion in 2003 as I waited for a quick breakfast at McDonald's.

Re: I've Polled the Peasants
Mark— Really? You really heard people state that about needing to have a big war to eliminate 1/3 of the population? That is so bizarre and scary as hell!
Re: I've Polled the Peasants
Yes, "Christian" End-Timers are hanging around waiting for the next Middle Eastern war to ignite and justify their (prophecy-based) beliefs that the Big War is coming to finally set in motion the return of Jesus. I've been reading it in comment sections lately. I read it 20 years ago after George W Bush invaded Iraq, how "Biblical prophecy was being fulfilled." (Bullshit)
I posted my recollection of hearing those old farmers at a table next to me in McDonald's in Boise in their Bible study tell how "a third of the world's population had to die in the big war" sometime around the end of June in 2003. I remember entire websites dedicated to that in '04-'05. Maybe those sites are still out there.
