I've no desire for reincarnate hopes

Post by joel » June 26th, 2005, 7:00 pm

I’ve no desire for reincarnate hopes;
no avatar yet come or passed extends
me comfort. One is but enough who gropes
at comprehending: without you, me ends.

Lack of diagnosis doesn’t equal lack of disease and
it’s a rotten corpse, dying surprised asleep
peacefully—without having said and understood good-bye.
Did you think you were merciful?

You loved all light atop the world with me,
both watching me incorporate my one
damned soul with yours and knowing it would end.
Did you suppose my ignorance would last?

Fabulous write....
riveting, powerful.
Goes all the way through, smacks right into the heart.
Thanks for posting it...

there was a man named joel
he would not sing noel
all's well that ends well
a platitude for hell

what happened next
his textured sigh
not smoothed over
no prayferful denial

deep waters run still
still water runs deep
someday you will meet your soul
burning slow you both will know

yo ho ho an a bottle of rum om[/color]
