tenderness

Post by creativesoul » October 9th, 2005, 12:14 pm

fragile
like glass
surfaces polished with pride
and arrogance
proven formulas
to get by

contorted like gestures
wet, slick and spasmadic

sometimes disguised as love , communication
closeness
deep hunger driven responses
wearing costumes, egos
pretend in dimly lit
dreams of sensual color
lifetimes that touch skins

velvet tapestries and sculptures
observe our madness
as we rip and tear at each other
for more there is not enough of us
to fill the emptiness of this world

i crave you
like chocloate
coffee cigarettes
then there is that moment of release
satisfaction

until i see you again
the next morning
after i visit the twilight dreaming visions

the violiet morning light trickles inside the window
i feel you spooning me
pulling me near
wake up tenderness
i love you here

I can't love this poem
it is good
but I can't enjoy it
your hapyness makes me angry
your everything
everyones everything!

I really did like it tho
don't get me wrong
nice rythm and
I love
that shit.

Nice read, creativesoul. In particular I really appreciated -

"we rip and tear at each other
for more there is not enough of us
to fill the emptiness of this world"

... altho to fracture this piece would be unfair to it's whole. ;-)

Thx!

i forget
the things that tranformed me
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Love is sometimes
Such an odd proposition
I mean.. The very thing I want the most
Is not visable
It is a bewitching enticingly exciting
Even sad... Because that euphoria
Wears off
And we are left with luggage
With our parents inside them
If there is no peace
There is no piece of .... Class...
I loved hard and strong and lost that game
Some cannot be tamed...
Starry night paintings
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
