Dreams as a Seabird

Post by Mike poet » November 19th, 2005, 2:34 pm

I dreamed as a Seabird
and squealed in glee
rejoicing with Nature
in it’s harmony.

I think this will be a fine day
then schools of Fish I see
a meal shone by the Sunrise
glorious in it’s infancy.

Then I wake and bake
to celebrate
the rise of the Sun
the birth of this day.

It’s good sometimes
to sleep on the Beach
for the sound of the waves
seems to pacify me
I am Aries and water calms my fire sign..
The tortured mind of this poet
is a hell in which to live
I design my time living in rhymes
incurring madness with which I feel.

The simple life is best; a dream for most.

I'm glad I stopped by to read. Makes me want to leave this overcrowded city block once and for all....

I live way too far from the ocean these days. Thanks for helping me remember that.
