caves

i thought that when i went on this dig that this was going to be it
the secrets of the past revealed sweat dripped off my body, and the handle of the shovel glistening in the tropical heat
what was found was the remains of a culture that no longer exists
bones and dust, and pottery shards numbered and delicately taken care of with someone else s ideas always feeling as if I was fumbling around inthe dark with someone elses fingerprints shadowing me private chamber
shadows of what I wanted to know sent shivers and tickly like sensations all over my hands and feet
grounded here
but feeling connected to elsewhere
the ghosts were loud about the invasion
the many legged bugs could be heard walking on the floor
suddenly
i felt unsure about how i could have ver thought that digging up the past was a good idea at all
let it stay there

The archeology of my soul.
The anthropology of one man's brain.
My past a prologue to my future.
Until I became as god.
Adam ate an apple.
I ate a peach.

just goofin around in your cave
Just means I liked it a lot :D

I wonder if somehow someway someone will say
should we dig up the year 2006.. :)
wonder if we will be someday lost to history..
The tortured mind of this poet
is a hell in which to live
I design my time living in rhymes
incurring madness with which I feel.

if we all do not get together and take a stand againest the world goverments
they might be digging us up pretty shortly
not to be a total fatalist, as i put on my new addias tennis shoes and head for the gym, i discovered a new muscle this morning on my arm, as if working out really worked ! well with the whirlpool, and occassional cesspool of a mind i try to purify in lodges with prayer
but maybe genetics has me as a lost culture

It seems to me the more we dig into the past the more confusing the past becomes, so yeah, you might be right leave it alone, and worry about our own failing civilization. "C"
