O ~K, I applaud the gamble hope of jackpot earnings. Isn't it so draining, though, to shrink back into the quiet and watch the odds stack up against you, knowing that there's still the 50/50 chance of winning on the simple level of 'either i win or i lose'?

Sentiment well conveyed. I wonder if different line breaks could add to the intensity. It is only my opinion so please don't be upset with me but I believe each line should be able to carry itself - its own expression of something specific, and think some of yours could be blended.
