Godallah's da man!

Post by mtmynd » July 21st, 2006, 2:59 pm

<center>Three cheers for GodAllah!
and bless His rationalism;
He's good at creating conflict
under the guise of nationalism.

Giving away the Middle East
to both Arabs and the Jews,
has caused 3,000 years
of hatred littering the news.

But His words have been written
or so the believers say...
that the Holy Lands are theirs
and there is no other way.

So the battles continue
a war between beliefs,
be it for God or by Allah
GodAllah shows no relief.

Three cheers for GodAllah!
and (many say) His only Son,
born in the middle of all this
His way of having some fun.

His Book of Revelations
that certainly brought concern...
who amongst the many
in the Middle-East will be burned?

Will GodAllah choose the Muslims
and which branch would he choose?
Pruning away the least peaceful
it could even be the Jews...

Maybe all the Christians...
(GodAllah works in mystery)
Or possibly be all three
returning to the sands of History.

Three Cheers for GodAllah
!
may His future be so kind
as to allow us warring humans
to get well beyond our mind,

For that is where this GodAllah
has been reported to be seen -
behind the veils of fears and wars
and all the things in between.

You may not recognize Him
for GodAllah is only a name,
no gender to be recognized
for that is the religion game.

Awaken to the Inner Self
a journey to the Spirit
where all life is united
without boundaries or limits.

No need for holy books
to guide you to the center
no words and promises from priests
to become your only master.

The journey is within
using only meditation,
a slow and easy experience
without ego's fragile tension.

Three cheers for GodAllah!
Krishna and Buddha, too.
No matter what name you like
Inner Peace is up to you.

Everyone thinks they are right, and everyone else is wrong. Yeah I guess God is confusing. In the end it is he who finds inner peace who will succeed into the next life. Very much enjoyed this MT, very much.

Reminds me of Allen Ginsberg's "Jaweh and Allah Battle".

Thanks, DtD, for the comparison. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with this Ginzberg poem. I tried a google search but to no avail.

...and artguy - thank you for your comparison, also.

I'm humbled.
