sweat beads off my lips in the waiting
sweltering humidity that is so uncommon for washington in the summer, here at the land where we, my family of spiritual nature have been coming to cry for a vision, to pray, to capture a tree, dress it up and feed it , pray hard, and dance . I have seen the results of the prayers. people with death in thier eyes, come back to life, i have seen the healing round, looked into the souls of people, right thru them at the holes in thier souls, and watched them heal, next year I will see them again, well, smiling, hugging
yes being an indian is romantic and beautiful, and alot of hard work.never have i have i seen such a herd of half humming bird, half buffalo s move more energy in my life time for twelve , maybe fourteen days
resting is a vacation. never have i felt so good, so tired, so sad, so holy, so happy, so alive all at once.
but when you come back from ceremony with spirit eyes
missing your man, your wolf was baby sat by an elk hunter, spoiled rotten, and your cats seem like strangers a little bit, what is electric stuff anyway, hot water? my paintings look old to me
like i did them in another life
i look at my spirit eys in the mirror after 12 days of praying and i think wow i am different some how

"spirit eyes".... that subdued me.... hadn't thought of it like that.

There are a whole lot of people with death in their eyes. May they come back to life. And me too.

The Indians were a people so filled with spirit, somehow they still are even after white man has done his best to put upon the Indian his way of life and beliefs. The Indian lived in harmony with that around him/her, the rest of us only harmonize with ourselves. Just thoughts.

Very insightful read.
