in the vast expanse of who we are
the stars glow and sing their weeping songs
when the heart listens, truly listens
it hears angelic voices dancing to the rhythm
of its single beat, life blood pulsing

to touch the sky, live up to a dream
there is no greater place to be
but in the vast expanse where time stands still
and the moments become one
making all seem right in this world

nymphs play in a stream
freshwater sprinkles
tickle my nose
my hopes
my toes
me

where are the fluffy clouds now, waiting to carry me away
somewhere distance, not on this plane
where are the butterflies with their vivid colors
somewhere hiding behind weeping willow trees
zephyrs lifting their flight somewhere out of sight

When the finch sings his sorrowful song
brightly colored cheeks red with dew
my heart bleeds for him
to hear his lonely call
and i wait.

what more can be said of hope, of love
of peace, of tranquility then this
there is a song waiting to be heard
it lives within each living thing
it starts the live blood in motion
it waits for you
