What's your problem?

You don't like it here?

Go somewhere else then.

I moved this topic to the Fireplace since I lied. The Fireplace is our complaint department. We do have one after all. I'd forgotten about it. LOL!

You had posted it in the Creative Writing forum and since it's not Creative Writing, I moved it to this forum where it seems to fit better.

Pray tell what are you talking about?

"doingthesamefuckingthingsthemselves"

Hmmm... that's an interesting complaint. What does it mean?

I love that Rolling Stones song! Thanks for reminding me of it. Singing it in my head now. :)

"If there is good poetry still at litkicks, I'm not really interested in finding it since I can't interact with it... and even if I could it, certainly not in the same way we used to interact. If they want to weigh each word and judge each post that's their prerogative but I don't understand people who want that type of judgement regarding their writings."

Ahh... I see.

So you really think your post was "creative writing" huh?

OK. Whatever. Sounded like a complaint to me. So I moved it to the complaint department.

The discussion you were referring to had to do with the difference between people posting spontaneously and interacting with each other and having to wait for hours or days until their posts appear based on the judgement of the site administration (as at the current litkicks).

Obviously that doesn't happen here.

Plus, there's certainly nothing wrong with me reminiscing about a time at a great site where there were some fine writers way back when. Nothing wrong with missing something like that. It was very inspiring and loads of fun.

You are right. It IS my board. You can judge this site any way you like. That's your prerogative.

But I repeat that if you don't like it here you don't have to post here. There are thousands of websites on the internet.

I don't know how I could possibly be your problem. I don't even know you. Looks like you've only posted here 8 posts. *shrug* That's not long enough for me to know you or for you to know me.

Complain all you'd like but please do your complaining in the Fireplace which is the forum meant for such things.

I FILE all the time. I move posts to various different boards if they don't fit where the person posted them.

It's just filing.

:)

hola, hola!!!! a mouse saying "obey may" and "I want to rule the world" or something like that!!!. Wow!!!
castration (queens)!! suggestive title!!

changing the topic, do you think machines have a soul or something similar??? I wonder about it each time my computer or my telephone stops working... sure a more rational explanation it could be "an old hardware or an inadecuate sofware or problems with the wires or Telecom´s ineficiencia or the storms or the rain..." but I´m afraid they love cycles even though I can´t understand them...

Machines have souls.
People don't.
The soul is a machine.

If it rhymes
or has little lines,
then its poem
ity
stands OUT.

Machines are soulful
and sweet,
they just don't piss
or eat.

Machines don't die
or sweat
they only execute
without regret.

Sometimes,
the machine
makes me

wet.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

If I can express my opinion here, Jonboyfan since you seem such an avid supporter of free speech, it looks to me like you're just pissed D moved your piece to the fireplace to be "burned/turned to ash". No one can diminish the quality of your work but you. I honestly don't think it's much like creative writing either. Looks like a statement with the words all jumbled up so that it could be posted in the Creative Writing forum... but that's just my opinion. I don't know if you were a part of litkicks while the forums where still operative but it really was a great time. Everyone was writing more. Most of us here would never have known each other were it not for those forums, so obviously, it upsets us that they have removed the interactive portion from their site b/c that was how we communicated. As for the bit about this site doing the same fucking thing as litkicks, that's just not the case. If you post your work anywhere where there is an option for people to comment then obviously you want them to, otherwise you'd get your own damned website and no one could say anything. I'm very proud of this site b/c it gave us a place to keep interacting even after litkicks had branched off into that awful screening process that no one is good enough for. Here, you're always good enough to post, and we can leave comments to tell you just how good you are. I'm with D, you don't like it... peace.

It's a creative complaint. Maybe we should have a forum just for that, D.
