birth-day

Post by creativesoul » December 5th, 2007, 3:15 pm

today, fifty years ago i was born. my mother had a goiter on her thyroid, and being an actress was quite concerned with her looks. After I was born, my dad told me they were happy I had ten fingers and ten toes.I have heard this story many times, and the part about my mother not wanting me. My father became a :house husband" in 1957 that was emasculating apparently. I lived in Palm Springs next to the indian reservation that has since been moved, so they could build an airport. So the medicine was there, on the other side of a wooden fence, to keep me in I guess. Recently I met a man that I knew in the playpen, steve. He tells people that I molested him, that I drooled on him, and that I was the first woman in his life, and ll his girlfriends are grateful. He also reminds me I am four months older than he is. I have renewed my drivers licence and gone to jiffy lube
  • talked to mom, dad and lover this morning.I paid some debts. I must be getting old to have become so practical.my friend is coming over to do some work. I am exhausted and have every intention of being as lazy as possible.I have some great coffee and the desire to continue to do life, this is a gift. I have 80 s music coutesy of comcast in the living room, i may change to 90 s soon, watch a movie. maybe sleep.
I was not supposed to live this long, it is one of those prayers like"God if you can hear me, please help me to be kind and loving to everyone I meet today" I have made mistakes and will make some more I am sure, hopefully not at other peoples expense.
I love being able to write in this place, and the people that give me feedback are like a secret network of friends that I can bare my soul too and not worry about gossip or back stabbing types. There is a girl at where I work that insists that her two stories that has made up about me are going to change something for her somehow inside. not your lucky day. the lead staff came and told me = and i have been reborn again by just having to say nope that is not true.

Happy Birthday!

Thanks for the glimpse into your life. After reading this piece, I feel I know you better.

Cute story about the kid you drooled on. *smile* I enjoyed reading the whole thing.

Hope your next years are as delightful as you are.
