i love you baby
and then the lights came on at 3 in the morning and I felt cold suddenly- the restless are here awaiting attention, maybe a favor. I want cigs. gotta have them. scrounging change - and i have so much to be happy about. why would someone like me subject themself to this kind of torture.i have loved people like cigs before. they were all fine and dandy and then they were put out in the ashtray, only to be less than biodegradable- in some cases hazzardous material, the gender of these people made no difference, half the time they did not know who or waht they were anyway, sometimes the best place to hide spirituality is in your heart- i know sometimes people do not care about the light and sweetness of a power greater than themselves because they want to be powerful.
i guess that is why I had to put them out

Thanks for writing
I always seem to find something in it that helps me on my way.
they say that Buddha said we are a lamp unto ourselves
but it is sweet when we do not hide that light under a bushell
when we let our little lamps shine
as we light our way
we may shed a little light
that casts for others
to find their own lamps
just a ramble please excuse but
but the preacher on TV is
on a power trip
trying to blind me into submission
with the light as he/she sees it
I have never been in the jungle at night
they say it is pitch black
can't see your hand in front of your face
"hello darkness my old friend"
sorry for the ramble

one more thing
I am in my mystic spiritual quantum hippy phase I guess.
Poet's say it best
I do believe in a power greater than me, but I also believe it is in me, through me, around me, it is me and not me, it so fleeting, I can't dwell on it long enough to find the words. My thoughts lag behind it. The power runs through all sentient beings, maybe more so in some less in others. Maybe the will to power is our most basic instinctsometimes the best place to hide spirituality is in your heart- i know sometimes people do not care about the light and sweetness of a power greater than themselves because they want to be powerful.

another thing
it is a head trip the
vanity of men to put themselves as the crown of creation
we are not the only sentient beings who populate this planet
I read a bit about elephants for example
They love mirrors
I can't remember the data
exactly but the experiment seemed to suggest they have a sense of self.
The living knew themselves just sentient puppets on God's stage" T.E. Lawrence.

Elephants Recognize Selves in Mirror, Study Says

for National Geographic News
October 30, 2006
Elephants can recognize themselves in mirrors, according to a new study. Humans, great apes, and dolphins are the only other animals known to possess this form of self-awareness.
All of these animals also lead socially complex lives and display empathy—concern and understanding of another's feelings—researchers report.
