Upstairs in the Poetry Room I really can't decide.. But,
if I'd known Ferlinghetti watched with amusement
Me thumbing through a copy of HER, stifling a yawn
Pouting and tired of reading about another beatnik's psychedelic erection
I put the book back on a lower shelf moving slowly onward
toward His corner chair,
Slipping between hurried tourists like a sly poem
