a long black haired woman
drops to her knees in front of me
waiting for me to go
or stay
she reaches for my hand
puts my thumb in her mouth
high rise jungle days
cocks crowing every morning
rain every afternoon
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
