the moon is almost round again - for Arcadia

Post by Perdida » August 16th, 2008, 7:59 am

The moon is almost round again

The moon is almost round again
dangling there, between seasons -

a pearl, bar-oque and overlooked
sitting pretty, outside of me
outside of you
in that devastating way that it does
on the edge of a long-narrow day

it bends me, riding the curves home
and i am held there
wearing the sky. its love-lines
and you.

p.s - Veronica, thank you for the inspire. :D

riding the curves home
and i am held there
wearing the sky.

a pearl, bar-oque and overlooked
sitting pretty, outside of me
outside of you
in that devastating way that it does
on the edge of a long-narrow day

Perdida, I got caught up in this piece so smoothly and easily that I found myself asking "is it over?" while wanting just a few lines more...

Ain't inspiration a wonderful thing? ;)

Thanks!

Yes, I can see it from here, almost round again.
I wonder if it ever reaches the pure round.
Probably..

mtmynd, yanno, i was going to add more, but after i read it a few times over, i realised that i had said what i needed to say. Sure, there could've been more but i felt it wasn't neccessary. I thank you Sir. :D p.s and yes inspiration is a wonderful thing!

Nazz, "i wonder if it ever reaches the pure round" I wonder too, and like you, i say probably. Thank you for reading :D
